FABCON Announces January Staff Additions

FABCON is pleased to announce several new hires and transitions made throughout the month of January:

  • Josh Fry – Production Supervisor (PA)
  • Brian Katchur – Plant Engineer (PA)
  • Christina DeLisser – Transitioning from Production to Supply Chain (KS)
  • Scott Whitney – Corporate Environmental Manager (MN)

Josh Fry joins FABCON from Carter Lumber, where he held several positions, including sales and shipping and receiving operations management.  Josh also spent four years with Case-New Holland as a Senior Analyst.  He enjoys camping, rock climbing and spending his free time with his fiancé Katie and their 3 children; James (14), Saira (10), and Zac (5). 

Brian Katchur is FABCON’s newest Plant Engineer in Mahanoy City.  His efforts will be focused on the Pennsylvania plant, as well as supporting all of FABCON’s plant operations.  Brian and his wife Jennifer reside in Beaver Meadows- with their son Joseph (12).  Brian enjoys hunting and fishing- and being an all-around woodsman on his 20 acre farm.

Christina DeLisser is transitioning from a current production and operations role to a new full-time role in Inventory Control at the company’s Kansas plant.  She joins the Supply Chain team with nearly two years of experience in supporting Kansas operations.  In her new role, she will be responsible for inventory management, back flushing, receiving and cycle counting. She will process PO releases for steel, concrete components, foam, wood and supplies. Christina’s role also includes preparing kits, requisitions and supplies for field teams.

Scott Whitney joins FABCON after spending 9 years working in the environmental field.  He brings strong technical expertise and leadership to FABCON as the company’s new Corporate Environmental Manager.  He was born and raised in the Twin Cities where he went to College at Bethel University and the University of Minnesota.  He has been married for 4 years to his wife Stephanie and they currently live in Savage.  In his spare time, he enjoys biking and hiking on the north shore.
