FABCON Announces February Staff Additions and Changes
FABCON is pleased to announce the addition of two new employees, as well as several transitions that have been made within the company.
Sam Gray – Director of Construction Operations
In his role, Sam will oversee FABCON’s Field Operations and Project Management departments as the Director of Construction Operations, where he will provide coompany-wide oversight to these departments.
Sam is originally from Indiana, and has spent the last six years working at Mortenson Construction as an Executive in their wind and solar division. Prior to Mortensen, Sam worked for seven years as a Senior Project Manager with Walton Construction out of their Kansas City, Missouri office. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology from Indiana State University, as well as a Master of Project Management in Construction from Northwestern University.
Deb Simon – ISO Manager
Deb Simon has transitioned from IT Support Specialist to FABCON’s new ISO Manager at the company’s Pennsylvania location. She has been with FABCON for four years, and has been a member of the MN Employee Club and the Fabcon Force. Over the last three years, she has audited our processes as an ISO Internal Auditor in Minnesota.
Scott Whitney – Corporate Environmental Manager
FABCON is pleased to welcome Scott Whitney as the company’s new Corporate Environmental Manager. He was born and raised in the Twin Cities, where he went to College at Bethel University and the University of Minnesota. Scott has been working in the environmental field for nearly ten years and brings strong technical expertise and leadership to the position. He has been married for 4 years to his wife, Stephanie, and currently lives in Savage. In his spare time, Scott enjoys biking and hiking on the north shore. We look forward to his leadership moving our environmental performance to world-class.
FABCON Position Changes

- Matt Hagen (MN) will be transitioning to Yard Manager
- Sara Corwin (MN) will be transitioning to Managerm Post Production Logistics
- Bryanna Anttila (MN) will be transitioning to IT Business Analyst
- Kimberly Nelson (MN) will be transitioning to Master Scheduler
